Race to the Royal City Cup

The Race to the Royal City Cup is a weekly 9-hole golf competition hosted at DBL CRS Sim Lounge.

Over 24 weeks, golfers of all abilities will play in their respective divisions for weekly prizes. The season will wrap up in April, where division winners will be crowned.

NEW for the 2026-2027 season:

• Divisions for Gross (no handicaps), Net (handicapped), and Ladies, with prizing distributed across all divisions

• Three major tournaments during the season that award higher point values than regular league weeks

• Monthly games offering opportunities to win additional prizes

    You may compete anytime throughout the week.

    You may book online at www.dblcrs.ca or by calling the lounge at 519-763-4624. Our booking system will send you a reminder 24 hours before your tee time and again on the morning of your booking.

    If you need to cancel, please contact us by phone or use our online system at least 24 hours in advance.

    Each event will reset on Monday at 9 am.

    Our league will be using the Golf Genius Scoring platform.

    You may download the app from either the Google Play Store or the App Store called “Golf Genius” for scoring.

    We will provide you or your group with a league ID and a scoring ID.

    You must let the staff know that you are playing your league round before playing.

  • season long points race

    9-Hole stroke play over 24 weeks, starting the week of October 19th and finishing at the end of March.

    A new course is played each week, and for a week to be counted, at least 35% of the field must compete.

    Prizes will be awarded weekly for each division and at the Year End Wrap Up party.

Points Breakdown

Points for each division will be awarded using a FedEx Cup-style system based on your position in the weekly standings. The higher you finish, the more points you earn.

During designated tournament or special-event weeks, points may be doubled or tripled!

Optional Skins games are available each week.

COST TO PLAY

Registration is $175 per person

Each week you join us for league play is $30 + tax*

League play for Victoria East and Victoria Park Valley members is $25 + tax*

*League playing rates are based on an average of 30 minutes per person to complete nine holes. Players are responsible for booking enough time to complete their round and will be charged according to the amount of time booked.
